Well it is now clear that the gaming space, previously occupied by the mega giants Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony, will have to shore up their defences because out of the clear blue sky comes a console, much smaller and with the potential to completely revolutionise the marketplace.

This Linux based box will help those whom love to game together remain connected. yes we all know about Xbox live, and the PlayStation network. but aren’t these platforms awash with spotty teenagers who could snip you just as you re spawned!

granted, I’m sure steam is full of the same type of player , but I believe this box will still bring new blood to a market that, invariably, has decided to go the digital route. there are rumours abound regarding Microsoft’s efforts to destroy the used game market, but why worry about that on steam when you have already established digital downloads.

I suspect the only downloads the big three need to worry about are the ones in their own pants when they see this thing come to market.
