SL 35 - Love Letters with Samara O'Shea
Samara O'Shea is a professional blogger for the Huffington Post, former blogger at Powell's Books and TalkingMakeup.com, and founder of Letter Lover - a professional letter writing firm. She's also the author of, "Loves Me…Not: How to Survive (and Thrive!) in the Face of Unrequited Love."
O'Shea starts the show by discussing some qualities that make guys "a dick." She explains how a guy can recognize and move on from unrequited love and how they can start loving themselves when someone they love doesn’t love them back.
O'Shea then discusses the difference between love and addiction and the positives to being single.
O'Shea also wrote the book, "For the Love of Letters: A 21st-Century Guide to the Art of Letter Writing." She tells us more about letter writing and how she previously ran an online letter-writing service at LetterLover.net.
The conversation then shifts to the modern publishing process, like books and blogs. O'Shea shares tips on how people can get blogging gigs, and then tops off the interview with a juicy story on how she got fired from "O: The Oprah Magazine."
