Dr. Bullock is a current Internal Medicine Resident in San Francisco, California. He grew up in Detroit Michigan, ran cross country at MIT graduating with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, completed an Master of Public Health from UC Berkley, and finished his Medical Degree from UC San Francisco. Dr. Bullock is passionate about all things medical education, clinical clerkships, race, diversity in medicine and the inherent flaws in the grading systems in medical education. He is an active researcher, and recently published pieces titled “Healing a broken clerkship grading system”, “In pursuit of honors: a multi-institutional study of students’ perceptions of clerkship evaluation and grading,” and his most recent article that came out weeks ago in the New England Journal of Medicine titled “Suicide—Rewriting my story”. Although a busy resident, Dr. Bullock is active on twitter and plans to stay in academia.
