[Surpass Team Podcast] An update on Linear Optimization within Surpass
In this podcast, Georgie Page from the Surpass Product Communications and Training Team discusses the improvements that have been made to Linear Optimization functionality in Surpass since it was first introduced a few years ago. The team also discuss the possibilities available with Linear On-the-Fly Testing (LOFT)

To start, Georgie takes us through what LOFT is and how even though candidates receive different questions, data is used to ensure equivalence across all candidates before Tom gives us a technical overview of linear optimization, and how LO functionality works in Surpass for the benefit of test creators.
The panel also look at how item exposure is balanced by the Surpass algorithm, to ensure the best return on investment and the entire item bank is maximised.
