Pope Francis is named TIME Magazine’s “Person of the Year” in a safe, conservative pick that belies the impact of many others on this years news.

–The sign language interpreter at Mandela memorial who was “signing nonsense,” and said to be “a fake,” says he is a schizophrenic who has a violent history, and says he was having visions of angels onstage.

–The manufactured “War on Christmas” continues in a new way: Megyn Kelly of Fox News, angry at non-white depictions of Santa Claus, says that both Jesus and Santa are historical figures who were white. Perhaps she needs a history lesson.

–The Mormon church finally rules, here in 2013, that despite being official church doctrine since its early founding, black people aren’t actually a curse or inferior, after all.

–In response to the authorization of a Ten Commandments monument outside the Oklahoma state capitol, Satanists plan to fight to get their own privately funded monument installed.

–Previewing the new SFR theme instrumental

Lloyd Pye, most known for his staunch support of the “Starchild” skull as being proof positive of alien-human hybridization, has passed away due to complications from lymphoma.

–Writer Colin Wilson, who achieved notoriety for his paranormal books and encyclopedia, has died at age 82.

–Dr. Burzynski, famed Houston cancer quack, has been delivered a harsh smackdown courtesy of the FDA for, among other things, failing to protect patients and falsifying records.

Katie Couric takes a beating from doctors and journalists, not to mention the general public, for a recent talk show episode she did about the “controversy” of the HPV vaccine.
