34: Kiki Cuyler-MLB

July 10, 2018

Kiki Cuyler is one of the most obscure names in the baseball Hall of Fame. Yet, over an 18-year career he hit .321, including a high of .360 for the Chicago Cubs in 1929. He also helped lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a World Series win in 1925 while hitting .354. Amazingly, fans in both cities would be hard-pressed to tell you anything about Kiki. Biography writer Gregory Wolf joins SFH for a look back at the remarkable and forgotten career of Kiki Cuyler.
