26: Gene Conley-MLB/NBA

March 20, 2018

Gene Conley is the only man to play in two different sports - he played for the Milwaukee Braves before they moved to Atlanta, and the Boston Celtics - and win a championship in each. Conley won with the Braves over the New York Yankees in 1957, and he was a part of the 1959, 1960 and 1961 Boston teams that won the NBA Championship in each of those years. John Husman, whom Conley called a friend, is the team historian for the Toledo Mud Hens and he joins the podcast to talk about Conley's remarkable career.
