Eddie has been teaching yoga in New York City since 1989, and since 1993 has
run the NYC branch of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois's Ashtanga Yoga Institute. Now
located in Brooklyn, the school also functions as a consecrated Hindu
temple. He is also involved in bringing health and wellness programs to
under-served and in-need communities based on yoga, stress reduction,
mindfulness and relaxation, and has designed protocols for scientific
studies on yoga. We spoke about his personal path, his guru, his work and
his perspective on the current yoga scene.
