This week on the show: things get hot – possibly hot enough to cause temporary insanity (listen late in the show for Dave to dis Kathleen Turner); after that, things get Trumpy as Ian wonders if Trump is serious, going crazy or wants out of the Presidential race; we do know that his becoming President will involve some sort of baby-related legislation; Dave thinks we should build a wall; is Trump a by-product of America’s fascination with reality TV – discuss; Dave says “Yes!” to the Coens Hail Caesar! – Ian is a firm “No” – in the sense that he liked everything about the movie…except the movie; who can forget the Aquabelles (well, Dave apparently); The Portrait of Bruce Villanch; have Ian and dave talked about Watchmen before; Dave questions the Netflix model of binge watching new programs; Ian would like to point out that he works; Dave isn’t too worried about the Rapture; Ian prefers the Blondie’s version of the Rapture; speaking of Blondie, what about those Bumstead Billions; speaking of Blondie, what about comic strips; Ian and Dave don’t want you to hate Stranger Things; Dave wants you to hate saxophones and also Romancing the Stone; and, finally, Ian wants you to know that everything is okay with Mary-Anne.
