Star Trek: First Contact 20 Years Later - December 2, 2016

December 03, 2016

Adam Thomas & Andy Farnsworth look back at the best of the Star Trek: The Next Generation film franchise--"Star Trek: First Contact"--20 years after it hit theaters around Thanksgiving 1996. Both agree it's one of the best Trek films of all 13 that have come out so far, they liked the cast, the story, the music, the choice of villain...pretty much everything about it.  Plus, they talk about the actor that was once considered for the role of Borg Queen and imagine how THAT film might have played out. Star Trek: First Contact was directed by Jonathan Frakes, written by Ronald D. Moore, and starred Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Frakes as Commander Riker, Brent Spiner as Data, Michael Dorn as Worf, Alfre Woodard as Lily, James Cromwell as Zefram Cochrane, and Alice Krige as the Borg Queen.
