Andy Farsworth and Adam Thomas take a look back at the movies of the summer of 1989, which Adam argues is the strongest blockbuster summer, ever! Andy previously went with 1991, but '89 brings some strong competition with it. There's Ghostbusters II, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Batman, for starters. Star Trek V bombed in the middle of that, and for reasons somewhat related to those other movies. Tim Burton's Batman redefined the comic book movie and don't forget about Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!
