The Heartbeat of your Home: Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical with Robin Wurzel
When it comes to the smooth operation of your home, there is nothing better than having them all operate seamlessly. However, what happens when plumbing gets backed up or you discover a water leak? Summertime temps can reach triple-digits and having cool temps inside makes for a more comfortable experience. In today’s modern world, everything we use for work and home requires electricity. So who do you turn to when your home’s systems break down?
In today’s episode we hear from Robin Wurzel from 1st Home and Commercial Services in Austin, TX.
Robin shares how her 28-year former career as an international flight attendant with American Airlines gave her an appreciation for a diversity of mindsets and an ability to really listen. Skillsets which has both grown the business and enhanced the customer experience.
She shares inexpensive DIY tips for home systems and the types of repairs which are best left to the experts. Robin also has a great tip for new homes in the midst of construction.
Robin’s DIY Tips:
- Your HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) unit is like the lungs of your home. So to ensure it can breath properly be sure to change out the air filter often.
- When looking at a future home purchase, check electrical outlets for burn marks. This could be a sign of an electrical issue which should be addressed.
- A home systems maintenance plan can extend the life of your HVAC systems and spot minor issues before they become major problems.
