Happy 2021! Jay Hunter is back to defend what at least two of us think is the Citizen Kane of animation -- Sensei Genndy Tartakovsky's animated TV series PRIMAL (available on HBO Max). Aggressively not for kids, PRIMAL follows a caveman and a dinosaur, bonded over devastating tragedies, as they help each other survive in the ruthless primordial world of the show. Dude, it's SO good. In fact, don't even worry about this episode, just go watch Primal. Hope your butt is nice and cushion-y because it will be balancing on the edge of that seat the whole way through.
