No BS Agency Podcast
Ep 151: On Selling Low-Priced Services
Why did you start your branding agency?
I’m guessing it was because you love the creative work you were doing as a graphic designer or copywriter at an agency and you loved executing the work so you decided to strike out on your own.
And I’m going to guess that selling your services is your least favorite part of running your own agency.
I talk about sales here a lot precisely because so many people hate it. And you can’t have a successful business if you don’t know how to sell your services.
My goal with all of the No BS Agency strategies is to help you take the ickiness out of sales so you can connect with people who are a great fit for your services. I want you to be able to make it feel less like a sales transaction and more like a meeting of the minds. If you can do that, you might even start to like the sales process.
So for the next month, I’m going to break down the process of selling low-ticket services, high-ticket services, and digital products, because these three areas are very different experiences for you as the seller, and for your buyers.
Today I'm gonna talk about what has to happen when you're selling a low-priced service.
Tune into this episode to hear:
- Who you’re really marketing low-priced services to
- How to structure a fit call
- Why low-ticket services need to be clear, concise, and ready to offer
- Why you don’t want to pitch the whole project before you build trust
