No Time For Death

Sounds like a good movie title.

The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, family and friends. Gifts, smiles, breaking bread and sharing stories and traditions. But what if you can’t feel that?

What if you can’t break through like George Baily to celebrate that “wonderful life”?

It’s a very personal and raw show today because that’s where I’m at for the closing of 2024; a year filled with just about anything there could be to knock a person down and yet, they’re still standing.

Dealing with the loss of two parents 7 months apart while keeping all things moving forward is and has been an incredible, stressful experience. If it wasn’t for the responsibility of taking care of others I probably would have caved in a long time ago. There hasn't been the time for me (yet) to reflect on the life and times with my parents and just maybe there will never be that time.
