Our ability to navigate these challenges in a way that is positive — even when the outcome in the moment isn’t —- is often an important indicator of future success, because it helps us build resilience needed to plow ahead when things get rocky.  All of this underscores an important element needed for building and sustaining influence: mindset. 

Mindset is one of the themes in this week’s episode — the fourth in our collaboration series with The Southern Coterie, but specifically how it’s helped this week’s guest not only build an incredibly successful catering company, but also helped her realize a few other dreams as well.

She  launched her company almost two decades ago, and since that time has created incredible events for some of the biggest names in business, media and entertainment. She’s also appeared regularly on shows like: The Today Show, Rachael Ray, Good Morning America, and the Barefoot Contessa among others.

Mary is the author of three books, with her third book: “How To Win Friends And Influence No One.”– which we talk about in this episode — due to be published in May and available for pre-sale HERE.
