As we conclude our study on the names of God found in Psalm 23, we find David has full assurance of his continued union with his great Shepherd for all of eternity.

Today, we are focused on the character of God found in verse 6, where David declares, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” Psalm 23:6.

We can rest in that as well as Paul expresses in Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
