Seniorologie Podcast Episode 37 – Level Up Your Bookings
Today is the fifth episode in the 5-Episode Series all about Leveling Up Your Business in 2021!!
Leveling up is a term tossed around a lot but what does it really mean?? To me it means taking your business to the next level whatever level that may be. You may be new to the senior genre of photography so leveling up for you could mean, booking more seniors than in the past. Maybe you have been a senior photographer for a while but you aren’t getting paid as much as you should and leveling up for you could mean raising your prices or adding in-person sales to your business. Maybe leveling up for you is going from hobbyist to full time photographer and making a living doing what you love! No matter what the next level is for you, this series is going to give you actionable tips on things you can do differently in 2021 to take your business to the next level.
Some of these items could be things you know you need to do and this will give you the push you need to actually do them or some could be new ideas that you can implement into your business to go to the next level! No matter what the case may be, I want to help YOU get to the next level for your business in 2021!!
Let’s face it 2020 wasn’t the best year for lots of reasons. And while you may have kept on shooting, you may not have been emotionally ready to handle anything more. I get it! I was in the same boat. But I am ready to go right along with you and make 2021 the best year yet!! Are you ready?
In today’s episode of The Seniorologie Podcast, I am sharing Ways To Level Up Your Bookings and Attract More Seniors!
The Seniorologie Podcast is a weekly podcast hosted by Leslie Kerrigan, creator of Seniorologie, for high school senior photographers. Highlights from Episode 37:
* Promote the experience not just the photos – Now is a great time to evaluate the experience you offer your senior clients. Write down every aspect of your experience then ask yourself if you could do more? Do you need to change something or add something to make it even better for your senior clients? Then ask yourself are you promoting the entire experience or just the final photos? Telling the entire story of what is included, getting people invested into a seniors entire experience will make them even more excited to see the end result and want to have that same experience with you.
* Personal Branding – Are you sharing your face, your voice and who you are with your potential clients? Seniors want to know, like and trust you before they book with you so make sure you are putting yourself out there, connecting to your potential clients and attracting seniors to your unique self!
* Social Proof – Are you using client testimonials to prove to other seniors that you are the right photographer for them? Hearing from a peer holds more value and allows seniors to know exactly what someone who has worked with you experienced. Don’t be afraid to ask your clients for testimonials and then share those testimonials as social proof.
* Partner with Vendors – Get your name out there by partnering with vendors that have a similar clientele as you do! Where do your seniors shop? Where do they hang out after school? Coffee shops, ice cream shops, clothing boutiques and prom dress boutiques are all great vendors to partner with.
* Love and Support Your Clients – How you show your support, make your clients feel loved and show others your relationship with your clients? Make every single client feel like a VIP!
