Seniorologie Podcast Episode 36 – Level Up Your Pricing in 2021!
Today is the fourth episode in the 5-Episode Series all about Leveling Up Your Business in 2021!!
Leveling up is a term tossed around a lot but what does it really mean?? To me it means taking your business to the next level whatever level that may be. You may be new to the senior genre of photography so leveling up for you could mean, booking more seniors than in the past. Maybe you have been a senior photographer for a while but you aren’t getting paid as much as you should and leveling up for you could mean raising your prices or adding in-person sales to your business. Maybe leveling up for you is going from hobbyist to full time photographer and making a living doing what you love! No matter what the next level is for you, this series is going to give you actionable tips on things you can do differently in 2021 to take your business to the next level.
Some of these items could be things you know you need to do and this will give you the push you need to actually do them or some could be new ideas that you can implement into your business to go to the next level! No matter what the case may be, I want to help YOU get to the next level for your business in 2021!!
Let’s face it 2020 wasn’t the best year for lots of reasons. And while you may have kept on shooting, you may not have been emotionally ready to handle anything more. I get it! I was in the same boat. But I am ready to go right along with you and make 2021 the best year yet!! Are you ready?
In today’s episode of The Seniorologie Podcast, I am sharing Ways To Level Up Your Pricing and Make More Money in 2021!!

Highlights from Episode 36:
* Run and Know Your Numbers – How many of you have actually sat down and ran the numbers for your business? Does math scare you like it does me? It’s ok because we can do it together! All you need is a calculator, piece of paper and a list of your expenses, cost of goods and time! In this episode, I share what to do to make sure you know your numbers so you can make sure you are charging enough to make the money you need for a successful business.
* Collections – Are you an all inclusive shoot and digital photographer? If so, you may want to consider offering collections with tangible items to level up your pricing and make your experience more luxurious. Being able to sell tangible goods really help your clients showcase their photos in a meaningful way. Digitals often get shared on social but do your clients really do anything else with them? And if they are printing from digitals are you able to ensure the quality is right?
* IPS – In person sales or an in person ordering session is another way to level up your pricing. By offering this service, you are able to offer a more upscale experience and you are able to sell those collections. By having samples of each product available for your client to see, touch and feel they will be able to purchase the products they like the most and the products that will showcase their images best. And with you their to help guide them through the process, they will feel more taken care of.
