Rabbi Efrat Rotem

Rabbi Efrat Rotem serves as a rabbi in central Israel and as the executive director of Maram – the Council of Reform Rabbis in Israel. She was ordained through the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem in 2015. She served as the rabbi of Kehilat HaLev in Tel Aviv. She is a queer environmental activist who integrates Jewish pluralism, critical feminism, and queer identity and worldview into her work as a rabbi. In addition, she holds an MA in Literature from Tel Aviv University and is a translator and editor.
