The first edition of The Wolf Cub Handbook was printed in December of 1916; this year marks the 100th anniversary of Cub Scouts. Lord Robert Baden-Powell created the Cub Scout concept in order to provide younger boys (under the age of 11) with an opportunity to experience Scouting, and then one that wasn't just a “watered down” version of Scouts.
Ken, Colin, and Ted discuss this and some other aspects of the history of Cub Scouts, and reflect on recent changes to the Cub Scouts program made as a result of Scouts Canada's new Canadian Path.Shout-Outs
