Diploma Paloma
• Chili powder, for glasses
• Kosher salt
• 1 lime wedge
• 4 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
• 4 oz tequila
• 2 oz light agave syrup
• 1 oz fresh lime juice
• 1/2 oz pomegranate juice
• Ice
• 2 ruby red grapefruit wedges
Instructions:
On a small, shallow plate, combine chili powder and a couple pinches of salt. Rub rims of 2 rocks glasses with lime wedge, then dip into chili powder mixture to coat. In a blender, combine grapefruit juice, tequila, syrup, lime juice, and pomegranate juice. Fill with ice and pulse on high speed until ice is crushed and drink is a slushie consistency, about 30 seconds. Fill prepared glasses with ice. Pour cocktail into glasses. A Brief Synopsis: At Midvale High School, Coach Michaels over pushes athlete Laura Ramstead who dies. After two months her sister comes to attend the her graduation in her honour. When she arrives, murder ensues for the high school track team.
