July 26, 2016

Have you ever tried to do something meaningful and fulfilling? How does capturing someone’s most important moment in their life sounds? Yes, I’m talking about wedding photographers who always seems to be able to capture the loveliest moments.
I’m sure it is a very fulfilling experience, to be able to look at the satisfying smile on the couple’s face when they see their lovely moments have been immortalized in the form of photography. Yes, it is a very fulfilling task, and it certainly is for our guest today.
Our guest today is Abbey Moore and she is a professional wedding photographer. Abbey told me that her passion has always been photography and she knows for sure that she wanted to make a living doing something that she loves, something meaningful. And what’s more, she definitely wanted a life with freedom, a life where her income can be totally dependent on how hard she wanted to work. So becoming a wedding photographer seems like the perfect choice for her.
But she didn’t jump straight into photography business though, instead she first got herself a graphic design job after finishing college, and it wasn’t until a year after doing photography on the side, that she quits her job and put all her focus on her photography business.
During the interview, Abbey shares the story of her journey and why she decided to go into the photography business. You’ll learn about:

* How she pursued her passion on the side, filling up her after-work hours and weekends learning everything she can about wedding and photography.
* Why she decided to quit her job and pursue her photography business full-time.
* She talks about how happy and satisfied she is now with her current lifestyle and routines.
* The sense of self-doubts that she encountered during her entrepreneurial journey, and how the supports and encouragements from her family members got her through the hard times.
* Towards the end of the interview, she also talks about how good it feels to be appreciated by her
