99: Recovering from Drug Addiction with Sarah Fisher Durst

July 14, 2016

Today’s story is about transformation, it is about how a former drug addict has successfully changed her life by getting out of drugs.
I have Sarah Fisher Durst with me today, she is currently a professional network marketer with Monat Global. If you look at Sarah today, you will probably describe her as a successful woman with a loving husband and two adorable children.
However, the story that Sarah is going to share with us today is her real-life experience of recovering from drug use. Her inspiring story shows that saying yes to the positive changes in our life can completely transform our life for the better, that we are not alone in the process of changing, that we have the love and support from our family and close friends.
During the interview, Sarah talks about her unfortunate and painful past:

* Her story of getting into drugs when she was young, and despite her drug use, she still managed to get through high school, college, and even ended up teaching in an elementary school
* Her unfortunate marriage to an abusive husband, who mentally and physically abused her
* Her experience of going through treatments and how she ultimately ended up in jail
* Her painful experiences dealing with the fact that she was constantly in need of money to continue her drug habits
* The deciding moment when she finally decided to saying yes to quitting drugs
* How her brother played a significant role in her transformation
* Towards the end of the interview, she describes her life after getting out of drugs – a happy marriage with a loving husband, a growing business with a supportive team

It is inspiring to hear the life experience of Sarah and her transformation from a drug addict who is struggling with her life, into a successful person she is today.
