80: Small Space Fest
On the night of 20th June 2016, the Emergency Arts Building in downtown Las Vegas will be filled with an artistic atmosphere as every crack and corner of the building will be embellished by unique art pieces of all forms. It is an art exhibition and sharing event called Small Space Fest, in which that night itself will have around 80 visual and performing artists exhibiting their unique pieces and showcasing their talents. This exciting event is hosted by a team of art enthusiast called Weft In The Weave.
In today’s episode, I have all three founding members of Weft In The Weave with me, they are Elizabeth Nelson, Heidi Rider and Adriana Chavez. They are a group of friends who shares a common interest in arts. Weft In The Weave is a creative collective founded by them, and they are dedicated to generating, producing and curating works of art. Through the Small Space Fest event, they wish to spark generative conversations and ongoing exchanges between local and visiting artists, which will ultimately deepens the relationships between the artists and the local community.
