Dr. Martin Seligman Q&A

Hi everyone, and thank you for tuning in!

I’m excited to share some reflections from the recent International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) World Congress — a truly inspiring gathering of researchers, educators, and practitioners from all over the world.

Thanks to a surprising connection between the IPPA president, Dr. Roy Baumeister (a world-renowned social psychologist), and my alma mater, The University of Queensland, I had the privilege of joining this event.

One of the most powerful moments was hearing from the father of Positive Psychology himself, Dr. Martin Seligman, who shared his bold and hopeful vision: to see 51% of the world’s population flourishing by the year 2051. He also addressed the evolving role of AI as a powerful tool for education, and shared his honest thoughts on global conflict and how positive psychology can help us make sense of it all.
