【OZ便りダイジェスト】世界・私たちの未来は?〜ポジティブ心理学カンファレンスレポートなど〜Podcast Vol. 218 Takeaways in OZ and Positive Psychology Conference
Hello and welcome to another new episode! This time, I’m speaking to you from winter in the Southern Hemisphere — Australia.
It’s hard to believe, but this year marks 30 years since I began traveling back and forth between Japan and Australia. Over those decades, I’ve built deep connections, including with a dear friend whose baby I once visited — that baby is now in his 20s and has just had a baby of his own. It’s been an emotional journey, watching four generations of my family and my friend’s family grow together over the years.
While Australia often feels like a second home, this trip was mostly for work. As an official ambassador for my alma mater, The University of Queensland, I’ve been receiving the latest updates from Australia’s top universities, including those in the Group of Eight.
I also attended the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) World Congress, held under the leadership of President Roy Baumeister — a world-renowned researcher in willpower and self-control.
In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing key takeaways and reflections from my time in Australia.
Let’s dive in!
