As our understanding of exercise physiology has evolved, coaches have
come to truly understand the training needed to be done to perform your
best at a given event.
The problem for most runners is that they aren’t yet ready to do that training.
Rather than focusing on preparing their body to handle the training
needed to perform their best, many runners simply jump from one goal
race to the next.
