Masih Alinejad, the Gulf’s “Greenshift,” and More

July 15, 2021

There’s a lot going on at the moment in the Middle East (as there always is). The biggest story of the week is the recently uncovered alleged kidnap attempt against Iranian dissident journalist Masih Alinejad, something that could have major implications for future U.S./Iran relations. Roule is an Octavian Report contributor and a former senior CIA Middle East officer and a current consultant on regional security, political, and energy issues.
