Our new episode features Richard Neher, a physicist and professor at the Biozentrum at the University of Basel.  Dr. Neher also co-founded Nextstrain – a tool that has been tracking in real time since 2015 genome changes in pathogens. The information his work generates is meant to be shared with other scientists and public health decision-makers to help them fight the pandemic – and shape their judgements about its future.
