Sober companions act as life coaches who are specifically focused on keeping you on track as you transition into a more independent phase of your recovery.​Danielle Delaney runs a company dedicated to providing sober companions to people who are being discharged from inpatient facilities and sober living houses.  Sober companions act as life coaches who are specifically focused on keeping you accountable and on track as you transition into a more independent phase of your recovery journey.  From planning meals, to attending social events and meetings, a sober companion can take on many roles and help navigate situations that may act as triggers during outpatient care.  Erica and Danielle discuss what a sober companion is and how they can be a vital form of support during recovery.
