We Are Contagious
Radical hope is not merely for survival or inner peace; it is resurrection-rooted, Spirit-filled, and world-defying. This kind of hope is inherently contagious. When received, it is not meant to be stored—it is meant to be shared, multiplied, and transmitted to others.
2 Corinthians 4:7 states, “But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.” Human limitations do not disqualify someone from carrying the power of God. In fact, the ordinary nature of the vessel highlights the extraordinary glory of what it contains.
Testimonies carry spiritual power. According to Revelation 12:11, victory comes not only through the blood of the Lamb but also through the word of testimony. Speaking about what God has done is more than recounting personal history—it is an act of spiritual transmission that stirs faith, releases courage, and breaks fear. Even unfinished stories hold power.
Believers are not called to market themselves or elevate personal accomplishments. The power of the gospel is revealed when it is lived with boldness and love. Every act of mercy, every word of truth, and every expression of grace puts Jesus on display.
What God has done in a person is intended to affect those around them. The grace at work internally becomes contagious externally. When shared, the testimony becomes a seed that invites others into the same resurrection life, drawing them toward new life, freedom, and transformation in Christ.
As you reflect on this message this week, consider the following:
Where have you seen signs that the hope God has given you is already impacting others? What part of your story have you been hesitant to share, and what might happen if you shared it with boldness? Are you more focused on the weakness of your container or the greatness of the treasure God has placed within it?The post We Are Contagious appeared first on Revival Life Church Boca Raton, FL.
