22. The Smurl Family Haunting: Real Life Source of the Movie, The Haunted

October 12, 2020

Picture it: West Pittston, Pennsylvania, 1973. Janet and Jack Smurl move their family into a house on Chase Street. By the family’s accounts, what they experienced during their time living there was something out of your worst reveries. The paranormal activity was so insane that they called on Ed and Lorraine Warren to come investigate the home. However, there are doubts in people’s minds about this whole story. Find out why. It’s up to you to decide what you believe.

Side note: One thing I forgot to mention is that Jack Smurl passed away in 2017 at the age of 75. He lost a long battle with diabetes.
