Leonard Lake and Charles Ng met through a survivalist magazine ad, which Leonard placed in the early 1980s. He may have been looking for a victim but found a partner in crime instead.
He and Charles Ng would wreak havoc in Calaveras County, California.
Leonard had a cabin that he rented from his ex-wife Claralyn (aka Cricket or Lyn) Balazs. He built a “dungeon” near the cabin and awful things ensued.
