In this episode, Ren talks with Paul Meek - Founder of Kichesippi Beer Company: Born in Jamaica, raised just outside of Toronto, studied in Halifax and arrived in Ottawa in 2002. He is a father to Alexander as well as being a widower since April 2019. In 2014, Ottawa Life Magazine chose him as one of the Top 25 People in the Capital. In 2015, Paul was a very proud recipient of the Order of Ottawa. Kichesippi is the indigenous name for the Ottawa River, and the brewery has long been focused on charitable causes throughout the community that focus on environmental and youth issues.
