Welcome to Renegade Files Episode 20, The Forbidden History of Giants.

Human history is decorated with tales, including Folklore and reputed fact, which speak of Giants: huge beings with great strength, both friend and foe. The Bible speaks of the Nephilim, or the hybrid offspring of Earthly women and fallen angels, said to be giants of great stature and abilities. Tales from Jack and the Beanstalk to Beowulf cast Giants as larger than life villains who will grind your bones to make their bread. 

But the world of Giants is not limited to fairy tales alone. In the late 19^th and early 20^th centuries many archaeological digs turned up massive skeletons of humans or humanoids, some of which reached ten feet tall or more.

In addition to the conspicuous absence of essentially all of these discoveries from the public record, the modern internet has allowed independent researchers to conclude something far more sinister may be at work, beyond just an innocent lack of interest.

Is it possible that The Smithsonian Institute itself could be engaged in a centuries-old policy to sweep under the rug any evidence that would contradict that most galvanized combination of academic sacred cows: Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, and the Superiority of Modern Colonial Western Culture?
