Danielle Marchant lived life at a fast and furious pace, working as s consultant in the corporate world of Asia. In 2011, she woke up and physically couldn’t get out of bed. She was literally frozen to the mattress, completely exhausted and suffering from burnout. Danielle went on to make some major changes to her lifestyle, and now runs a coaching business which includes her Pause Retreats, which range from 1 day to over a week. In this episode, Danielle and I discuss stress and when everyday stress becomes chronic stress; resilience – what it means and why we don’t like that word; the symptoms and causes of burnout and it’s potential origins in childhood and much more.
