Tywan Anthony is a Financial Counselor at the New York City Financial Empowerment Center at their Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza location. He also works as the city-wide Small Business Liaison to New York City Councilman Robert E. Cornegy.

Mr. Anthony is consistently tapped to speak at events and workshops at businesses, schools, clubs, fraternal organizations, and financial institutions throughout the Central Brooklyn area. Just recently Mr. Anthony was selected to serve on a panel at the United Nations.His roles allow his clients from the Financial Empowerment Center to be served in a manner that has never been seen before.

Within the last year, Tywan has counseled over 550 clients from various financial backgrounds. Collectively, his clients has saved over $20K in emergency savings, and eliminated over $1.5M dollars in debt. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate that his clients draw on as it relates to home buying, renting, foreclosure issues, and even property management, development, and real estate/asset acquisition. He fuses his knowledge of real estate, small business and financial literacy to better serve his wide array of clientele throughout New York City.

When Tywan is not working you can find him on the football field. He is currently the owner and outside linebacker of a nonprofit semiprofessional football organization called the Bedford Stuyvesant Crusaders located and operating out of his own neighborhood of Bedford Stuyvesant. His passion for the sports and the betterment of his community is second to none.
