Marc Kantor is a nationally recognized addiction intervention specialist and Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) with over a decade of experience helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Today, Marc serves as the National Business Development Representative at the J. Flowers Health Institute in Houston, Texas, a premier center for comprehensive, concierge-level care.
Marc’s path to this work is deeply personal. After achieving long-term recovery following his own battle with addiction, he shifted from a successful career in commercial real estate to dedicate his life to helping others find healing. In 2018, he founded South Florida Intervention, offering high-touch intervention services and family support with a focus on communication, trust, and sustainable outcomes.
Marc is also the author of “How to Do an Intervention: A Step-by-Step Guide for Parents” and a passionate mental health advocate. He has served on the boards of Active Minds and CrisisLink, championing awareness and suicide prevention efforts nationwide. Known for his compassionate, family-centered approach, Marc brings deep empathy, professionalism, and lived experience to every client interaction.
