In order to make our genius “real,” we need to be able to communicate it to others.  Usually, this requires us to be able to speak and or write about it.  Kathy Mellor is all about communication.  In her business, Unleashing Your Voice, she helps parents and students communicate more effectively.  Kathy and I met through the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute; she was my mentor for years.  She is an amazing woman, and I’m so happy she shares her genius in this episode!

BIOGRAPHY

Kathy Mellor has been homeschooling since before it was cool. With six kids (ages 17 to 31), she’s dealt with everything from learning disabilities to disaffected teens, and she has mentored in her homeschool community for 25 years. Being the owner of Unleashing Your Voice! has allowed her the opportunity to teach public speaking and debate all over the country and mentor hundreds of parents in a seminar called Supercharge Your Mentor. Additionally, she has spent the last 15 years mentoring homeschooled youth and parents online. There is literally no problem or situation that hasn’t come up before.
