Walt Willey was born in Ottawa, Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University, where he majored in fine arts. In 1981, he headed to New York to pursue professional acting. After performing in numerous off-Broadway productions and stints on "Another World" and "Ryans Hope", he joined the cast of "All My Children" in 1987, originating the role of Jackson Montgomery. In 1989, Willey branched out into stand-up comedy and became a member of the Friars Club, a passion he still enjoys with his “Wild and Willey Comedy Tour.†Walt is also touring with live performances of: “Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok†with an in-school program that benefits drama programs in local high schools. His website is www.waltwilleyworld.com
