Picture George has been applying his skills as a Stylist for the Beauty Industry since 1995. He chose to concentrate on color as it has been a passion of his for a very long time and has found this very highly specialized skill to be fulfilling. For the first 3 years of his career, George apprenticed under a group of former Vidal Sassoon instructors, where he was able to acquire his "Sassoon-esque" approach to cutting hair. Later in his career, he was invited to join The Young and the Restless, the countrys #1 daytime drama, where George has been able to work with hair in a very different manner. He has been with the show since 2002 and holds the title of Senior Stylist. Mr. Guzman has also worked on countless photo-shoots where his work has graced the covers of Soaps in Depth and Soap Opera Digest among others. George has found the best way to stay current with modern hair is through salon work. Therefore he still dedicates one day a week to that. Overall, Georges journey in the beauty industry has been a rich and rewarding one. Everyday he is presented with a fresh opportunity to be creative. He loves what he does and because of this, has found that the recipe for success is talent matched with passion. His experience has shown this to be true.
