Jake Silbermann grew up in New York City and from an early age pursued theatre both in school and with the renowned conservatories, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Stella Adler. After graduating with a BFA from Syracuse University, Jake returned to New York where he began his career first in television appearing in "Guiding Light", "Gossip Girl", "As The World Turns" where he originated the controversial role of Noah Mayer, and in ABCs upcoming "Georgetown". Jake made his stage debut with The Little Shubert Theatre and followed that with the McCarter Theatre in Princeton in an Emily Mann directed production. He is also the writer of the award winning short film "Stuffer" (dir. Nathan Crooker). Jake is a founding member of The Camisade Theatre Company. Currently, he is working on "The Revival," a film which is is writing and producing independently.
