We're in countdown mode to the end of 2015, and our cohosts Orie, Saidue and Justin get together to talk about last weekend's awesome Radio Free Brooklyn holiday party at Beasts of Bourbon in Bed-Stuy. Justin was in love with the cornbread and infused whiskey, and the party was a smashing success with great music, food and people!

We also continue the conversations around HIV in our communities by featuring an interview with a journalist who, through living through the trauma that came from his HIV diagnosis and other events in his life, worked to inform and educate through his award-winning work on Mississippi Public Radio. Lawayne Childrey put his life's experiences in a book, Peeling Back the Layers, and discussed with co-host Orie his reasons for writing and what the experience has been for him and those who have read his work.
