The Word Cisgender  has been officially added to the Oxford English dictionary. The term cisgender is defined as "designating someone whose sense of personal identity corresponds to the sex and gender assigned at birth."  Additionally added words include twerk, half-ass, sext, and stanky.  Fiona McPherson, senior editor of Oxford English Dictionary, has said the new entries have ‘earned their place’ in the history of the English language.

Virgin airlines is celebrating LGBT pride in a racy way via twitter. The airline took to twitter to ask users questions like are you a top or bottom? and asking for retweets if you like the feel of leather when you strap in."  It comes after Sir Richard Branson called for the US Supreme Court to rule in favour of same-sex marriage.  Branson told PinkNews “It is not for any government (or anyone else) to cast judgement on people’s sexuality. Globally, 19 countries have passed laws to allow same-sex marriage and it’s time for the U.S. to move forward too."

Healthcare for Trans* U.S federal employees will be available starting January 2016. The office of personnel management reported to Pinknews that  "no carrier participating in the federal employees health benefits program may have a general exclusion of services, drugs or supplies related ot the gender transition of sex transformations."   Insurance companies that provide plans for federal employees will no longer be able to exclude coverage for transition care, such as hormones and surgery.

Texan man has been indicted on the capital murder charges or the death of his daughter and her girlfriend. A Galveston County grand jury indicted James Cosby . Cosby had previously been charged with tampering with evidence in the case. The bodies of Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson, both 24, were found in March 2014 outside a store in the 700 block of State Highway 87 on Port Bolivar.
