In this week's edition of Evening T, we discussed the obvious...we had to. But, our hosts and guests agree that the Vanity Fair cover some say broke the internet is not the real story by any means. We also touched on Mike Huckabee, Viagra for women, and the AIDS/LIFECYCLE fundraiser. Originally broadcast on QueerMinded June 4th,2015.

Caitlyn Jenner who came out as transgender this year made her big debut on the cover of Vanity Fair presenting for the first time as female. This magazine cover has created quite a buzz on social media and has been greeted with mixed opinion.  Though much of the world has embraced the magazine cover others feel as though the real focus should be on those transgender women who are not as privileged or who do not have the resources to complete their transitions or live their lives as Caitlyn can. Find out more about those important issues at the Trans Griot or Trans Women of Color Collective sites.
Former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee is answering to a statement he made earlier this year stating that he wishes he felt more like a woman so that he can shower in the girls locker room.
Viagra for women could be a reality soon, after being rejected twice due to concerns over effectiveness and safety the drug has been approved for limited testing.
The AIDS/LIFECYCLE fundraiser is taking place on the west coast. Participants raise sponsorships to make a 545-mile ride down the California coast. One participant found an interesting way to fund raise, Air Force Captain Anthony Interrante raised over 59,000 dollars from people all over the world using Grindr and Scruff to solicit donations.
