In this special ARTober edition of Up+Adam, produced in collaboration with the City of San Luis Obispo, we’re turning the spotlight on SLO Repertory Theatre, a cultural gem that has been captivating audiences since 1947. We’re joined by Kevin Harris, Managing Artistic Director of SLO Rep, to discuss their latest production, Misery, based on the novel by Stephen King, as well as everything else SLO-Rep. Running from October 11th to 27th, Misery promises to deliver a spine-chilling experience that’s perfect for the Halloween season.

We also dive into the theatre’s transformation from a community-driven group to a professional regional theatre, and how SLO Rep is planning to expand its presence with a new downtown location. This episode offers a rare glimpse into the magic of live theatre and the passion that drives one of the Central Coast’s most beloved institutions.
