Today on Up+Adam, we're thrilled to have actor/neighbor Casey Biggs. Most of you might recognize him as Damar from "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (but he’s been in a ton of TV shows and movies)," but today, we're shining a spotlight on his remarkable contributions right here on the Central Coast (he’s a local). Casey has been lending his talents to the Applause Children's Theatre, helping to inspire young performers. Just recently, they wowed audiences with their production of "The Wizard of Oz." And yes, I'll admit, we were supposed to air this chat before the curtain rose, but hey, even your trusty host can miss a cue! Despite the timing hiccup, our conversation was too good not to share. From his days at Juilliard to his profound impact on stage and his deep involvement in local community work, Casey's journey is as inspiring as it is interstellar.
