“Nasty Drew and That Harder Boy: The Mystery of The Family Jewels” is a mix of the classic Nancy Drew stories, drag, burlesque, music and more. Harder joined the crew of QSoM with co-star, international drag performer and the current raining Miss New York Continental Sir Honey Davenport, to talk about their project, the “boylesque” scene, Davenport’s upcoming national pageant and more (Queer State of Mind on Fire Island?)

Harder says the idea is something that’s been in his head for a while, inspired by his work in the clubs and his love for the book series. You might know the North Dakota-native from around the NYC club scene, he’s an award-winning burlesque performer, dancer and adult star according to his website.
The self-proclaimed “naked freelancer” has toured the world performing at burlesque festivals and clubs, and says this show is a bit of everything.
“It’s almost like a musical, but instead of breaking out into song, we break away our pants,” Harder explained on the January 16th broadcast.
Check out “Nancy Drew & That Harder Boy: The Mystery of the Family Jewels” coming to The Slipper Room,167 Orchard St. Lower East Side on January 24th and 25th, doors open @7. Visit the “Nasty Drew” website for more info.
