Jennicet Gutierrez, Bamby Salcedo and countless others are working to dismantle the systemic forces of oppression keeping them from living their lives. Issues like immigration, violence against trans* women, lack of legal protections in housing and employment are all factors in the movements that are becoming more and more visible.
